-Last year, Steamboat Ski Resort celebrated 60 years with a film featuring cowboy poetry with famed poet Randy Rieman. This year, Rieman is back for a series of poems and winter-themed videos, building on the resort’s “The Steamboat Way” campaign. Fortnight Collective created the ads using cowboy poetry to evoke the parallels between winter sports and the rugged Wild West, capturing Steamboat’s pioneering culture. Fortnight collaborated with Rieman on verses that feature beautiful scenes of horses in open fields, skiing and resort activities to show that traits such as individualism, camaraderie and the desire to brave new territory. The themes include “New Territory,” “The Colt,” “Family Inheritance” and “Hospitality.”
