-San Diego-based agency 62Above (formerly i.d.e.a.) worked with production company Caviar and director Benjamin Mege on this “More Than A Place” regional Super Bowl ad for Harrah’s Southern California Resor starring Rob Riggle as the mayor of Funner, California (video above).

Super Bowl ads turned to humor and nostalgia in an attempt to distract audiences from, well, you know, everything.

-Google’s “Loretta” topped Unruly’s list of the Super Bowl’s most effective ads.
