Tribal Worldwide London, adam&eveDDB and Cirque de Soleil Televise the Revolution for Lipton

Tribal Worldwide and adam&eveDDB teamed up with Rogue Films and director Saam Farahmand to create an ad for T.O by Lipton featuring an underwater performance by Cirque de Soleil. 

Inspired by the tea machine’s visible brew orb, the spot features Cirque de Soleil dancers diving underwater and performing a routine, accompanied by bubbles, trails and ink. The result is a visually-stunning representation of the T.O.’s brew orb in action, evident in the conclusion of the ad when the action zooms out to focus on the tea machine. There’s not a whole lot to the spot aside from the eye candy, leading into the tagline “See How Good Tea Can Be,” but it is some truly exceptional eye candy. It all makes for a far more memorable ad than we can remember seeing for tea, or any of the Keurig-esque devices cropping up lately and, if its “Nutcracker Suite” soundtrack qualifies it as such, it makes for a fair holiday effort as well.
