What is one tool you use all the time at work, and how does it inspire your work?

The single most important tool I use is my steam shower. I use it twice a day, morning, and evening. The daily ritual allows me to pause for a moment first thing in the morning, reset and problem-solve while clearing my mind and rejuvenating my senses.  As the founder and CCO at Little Big Brands, I am dedicated to always doing what is right for my clients, but also my employees. They are the lifeblood of the firm, and we would be nowhere without them. My steam shower literally and figuratively clears my head, allowing me to be the best version of myself on a daily basis.

Why is it your favorite?

Unfortunately, I can’t take my steam shower with me. That would be really amazing, though. I sometimes find myself reminiscing about past steam showers and the ideas that arose, it’s like a secret weapon for me.

How did you acquire your tool or hear about it for the first time?

I acquired my steam shower when I purchased the home; while I had a steam shower prior to this one, it just didn’t compare. I can fire this puppy up so hot it’s almost unbearable, which is rather surreal.

How does it help you be successful?

First, I am truly thankful and fortunate to have a hot shower which I consider a luxury and that many do not have access to. Steam is a centuries-old stress remediate, and sulfur steam baths have a rich history. There’s something about the hissing sound that energizes it’s like my steam shower and I are working together to set the course for a successful day ahead. Additionally, I can add scents to the shower which ignite my memory and get the creative receptors firing for another amazing day at Little Big Brands.

It also makes me feel good that I’m an environmental supporter, and since steam showers are eco-friendly and only consume about two gallons of water compared to 50 or more gallons of a conventional shower. You simply can’t be successful is you’re stinky.

Does it have sentimental value?

I do not feel my steam shower provides sentimental value, however, the Japanese exfoliator cloth I use does. It’s like sandpaper, and I love the pain. No pain, No clean.

Do you think your tool could go TikTok viral?

Yes, sure, if you are into that type of thing.
