Creative production studio Tool of North America has added a team of creative technologists known as nøcomputer to its roster.

Nøcomputer’s specialties include creating interactive installations and experiences, code-designed art, branded content and prototyping new types of software.

The creative technologists have previously collaborated with Tool of North America on its “Play The City” augmented reality project for The Grammys, a “Sounds Like You” activation for Pandora at SXSW and “Soul of the Machine” experience for Infiniti.

“nøcomputer have been amazing collaborators with our team over the last couple of years. What I’ve always admired is their passion for making exceptional advertising utilizing technology. Every client that works with them walks away knowing that nøcomputer went over and above to deliver on the project and wants to work with them again. That really means something in this business,” Tool managing partner  Dustin Callif said in a statement. “This is a natural evolution in our relationship. We’re looking forward to continuing to create and deliver revolutionary projects to our clients with their team in order to push the boundaries of what advertising can become for agencies, brands and consumers.”

“Tool is known for pushing the boundaries of the technological landscape within advertising, so we knew from our very first project with them that they would be great partners in bringing some of the most innovative work to clients,” nøcomputer added. “We’re looking forward to building on our momentum and experience with Tool, and continuing to test new boundaries within the evolving innovation and experiential spaces in advertising.”
