-In case you didn’t know, Johnsonville is the official sausage of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Now that you have that factoid embedded in your brain, the brand has released a new creative campaign that celebrates and salutes the prowess of Southern grilling. “Tongsmen,” developed by new agency partner Hold Fast Co., urges grillers to make more space for sausage.

Hold Fast Co., a new agency headquartered in Milwaukee, has partnered with Johnsonville for campaign strategy, creative and influencer development, and for this campaign, Hold Fast set out to build the Tongsman label as a badge of honor for grillers, especially as tailgate season ramps up. The new campaign features the Johnsonville Titanium Tongsman contest, a virtual throwdown of sausage-grilling expertise that culminates in a pregame grill-off at the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.
