-Canada’s Pizza Pizza has some pretty good ideas about how to get through a summer of inflation and mosquitos. The brand last year gave Canadians a “Fixed-Rate Pizza” and this year the chain, with the help of Zulu Alpha Kilo, looks to help with inflation by upsizing a pizza. The Growflation Pizza counteracts the trend that brands are downsizing their helping sizes. Instead, the chain is making its small pizza 44% larger for the same price.

Pizza Pizza also recently introduced something to keep the bugs away: introducing its newest menu item, the Buzz Off Pizza. Just in time for summer, the Buzz Off Pizza is loaded with toppings like garlic, tomatoes, hot peppers, and onions, which many studies say can naturally repel mosquitoes.

-Ogilvy has won the global creative duties for Irish whisky brand Jameson.

-Coming on the heels of Cannes, the 2023 Emmy Awards announced its nominations for Outstanding Commercial, with Apple dominating.

-As heat waves crash Europe, people are doing whatever it takes to cool down. Finnish energy company Fortum, a forerunner in district heating and cooling services, is letting people know there’s an easier and more permanent fix to their troubles. In their summer campaign, “Cool Idea,” from TBWA\Helsinki, people are shown demonstrating their elaborate DIY cooling hacks, from ice bag pillows to refrigerated workstations.
