-Scott Sorokin, who you may recall resigned from Mindshare a month ago, has joined up with Publicis Groupe-owned Rosetta in the newly created position of chief strategy officer. Meanwhile, Sorokin’s former colleague at Mindshare, Michael Epstein, who resigned at the same time, has joined up with Carat in the same position.
– Commercial editing vet John Palestrini, founder of Palestrini Film Company, which grew to become BlueRock, Spontaneous, Scarlett, Ballistic and other service companies (and is now known as Lively Group), passed away this week at the age of 66. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Wounded Warriors and St. Jude’s among other organizations.
