The Viral Factory and Hot Chip Go Lights Out on Behalf of Earth Hour

In order to remind everyone to switch off their lights this Saturday in honor of Earth Hour, the World Wildlife Fund has corralled The Viral Factory US and British electronic artists Hot Chip to produce the above animated clip called “Lights Off” that’s controlled by the light your webcam detects in your room. If you’re without webcam, no worries, you can still check out the effect by toggling a fake virtual switch.
