TBWA Worldwide announced the promotion of Kyla Jacobs to the role of global business development director. In the newly-created role, Jacobs will be responsible for driving growth across the agency, including new business, organic growth and new platforms and services. She will also retain her current role as director of business development at TBWA\Chiat\Day New York.

Jacobs joined TBWA\Chiat\Day New York in January of 2014, helping to land new business including H&M, NBCUniversal, Travelers Insurance, Amway and Pernod Ricard’s Kenwood Vineyards. Before joining TBWA, she served a two-year stint as director of business development, Europe for CP+B, where she led pitches for Coke Zero, Diesel, Ubisoft, Captain Morgan, and the global Turkish Airlines account. That followed three years with U.K. independent agency Rapier as head of new business and marketing. She made the jump to Rapier following account management positions with TBWA and Saatchi & Saatchi.

“Kyla’s experience working with some of the most sought-after brands in the world’s key markets will be a huge asset in accelerating our own growth,” said TBWA Worldwide CEO Troy Ruhanen. “She has an impressive track record of key business wins, and she shares our enthusiasm for the enormous opportunity that TBWA’s refocused Global Client Market structure represents.”
