Taxi Does A Little Good

By SuperSpy

Toronto-based ad agency Taxi has partnered with designer Lida Baday to create a coat for the homeless. This gesture is part of chairman of Taxi, Paul Lavoie‘s, desire to commemorate the company’s 15th anniversary by doing something good.

The all-season weatherproof coat is to be given free to the homeless across Canada and the U.S. “Baday decided to insulate the coat with newsprint, which is the second most popular insulation material after fiberglass.”

That taxi coat thing is offensive, why don’t they not make a coat made of trash and give out good shell jackets that aren’t a PR stunt made at the expense of 3000 homeless people who will have coats full of wet newspaper. Despicable
