Hey New York ad folk, here’s the deal. There was an horrific earthquake in Abruzzo, Italy on April 6th — you remember the pictures, undoubtedly. The National Italian American Foundation is hosting a stand up comedy night for you ad people and by you ad people, to raise funds for those affected by the quake.
That’s right — addies will be taking to the stage to share quips, anecdotes and bad jokes all in the name of helping victims of the quake. I know a few of you who are hilarious and just dumb enough to think that’ll translate in front of a mic, so get on board. Details below.
When: Monday, June 1, 2009
6:00pm — 8:00 pm
Please arrive promptly — no admittance after 6:30
Where: Broadway Comedy Club, 318 West 53rd Street (between 8th & 9th)
