Subway Swings its Junk To-and-Fro

By Matt Van Hoven

Subway has a new ad for the UK, where a sandy costs as little as £1.99. The campaign, “there’s a sub for that” is from Momentum and McCann Erickson and according to The Drum, “seeks to build on the Subway stores point of difference versus the fast food competition, customisable products using fresh ingredients.”

It’s for the UK market, but we’re not making the connection. A guy aerobicizing in tiny shorts is funny enough, but the tie-in to a sub? Meh.
