Stagwell Media Network Announces Executive Leadership Hires

Stagwell Media Network, part of Stagwell Inc, has made three global leadership hires to expand the agency’s investment profile. The three will focus on partnerships, innovation, investment models and accountability.

Jon Schaaf has been hired as global chief investment officer, while Shannon Pruitt has joined as global chief content officer. Rick Acampora has been added as global chief client officer.

Schaaf comes to Stagwell after stints at Omnicom, Publicis and GroupM, where he led the development of omnichannel investment strategies. At Stagwell Media he will lead the creation and management of the investment group, overseeing strategy and activation.

Pruitt had previous roles at Dentsu’s Story Lab, Carat, Warner Bros. and was also CMO at The Honest Company. In her new role at Stagwell, Pruitt will be responsible for developing innovative content, media and publisher relationships.

Acampora has held positions at GroupM, MEC/Wavemaker, UM and Publicis. Notably, he led the product unification and transformation for the merger of MEC and Maxus to form Wavemaker. At Stagwell Media Network, Acampora will collaborate across the client and agency teams to create partnerships that drive innovation and results.

Stagwell Media Network has over 2,500 experts with a global footprint across 40 offices in 20 countries, managing close to $5 billion in media.
