Signal to Noise Shutting Down

By Kiran Aditham

In other Bay Area news, staffers at Signal to Noise–the shop formerly known as Agency.com San Francisco that re-launched a year ago–were notified yesterday that the agency is basically shutting down. Here’s a statement we received from StN’s president/CEO John Warren: “We are in the process of realigning Signal to Noise, which includes transitioning some of the agency’s employees and clients to other partner agencies. As the process is still being finalized we cannot comment about specifics with regard to specific agencies, employees or clients.”

According to tipsters, the alleged “partner agencies” that Signal to Noise’s current staff are being transitioned to are Omnicom sister shops Tribal DDB and Organic. One spy claims that StN’s Nike account and its team are going to Organic and the Ebay account and its team to Tribal, though we’ve yet to confirm this. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
