Saatchi & Saatchi London Appoints Hugh Todd as Global Creative Director

By Erik Oster

Saatchi & Saatchi London appointed Hugh Todd to the newly-created role of global creative director on the agency’s HSBC account, LBB reports. In the role, Todd will report directly to Saatchi & Saatchi London chief creative officer Kate Stanners

Todd joins Saatchi & Saatchi from Leo Burnett London, where he has served as a creative director for the past three years. The appointment marks a return of sorts for Todd as he previously worked as a copywriter for Saatchi & Saatchi London from 2001-2004, before leaving to join JWT London as a creative director, where he also worked on HSBC. Prior to that, he served as a copywriter for BBH London for six years, spending two years in the position at The Fine White Line before that.

“Hugh is a brilliant creative with a great reel, and I’m sure he will bring all that and more to our work for HSBC,” said Stanners.

“I’m looking forward to reacquainting myself with the ‘Nothing is Impossible’ culture at Saatchi & Saatchi and working on HSBC, a brand which I love,” added Todd. “I’m excited about this chance to take it on to even greater things.”
