Saatchi & Saatchi Attempts to End the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

BBR Saatchi & Saatchi Israel is calling for creative and innovate ideas to help bring an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, one of the longest running wars in the history of civilization. In true Saatchi & Saatchi form, they’re making a contest out of this turmoil.

How old is this conflict? Well, in the age-old Biblical tale of “David and Goliath,” David is an “Israelite” from which current day Israelis descended, and is a “Philistine,” from which current day Palestinians are thought to descend. The conflict that the world recognizes today is only 60 years old, but this has been going on a long time before that.

Ideas will be judged by a panel of Israeli and Arab advertising folks from the BBR group, and the person who can come up with the most “out of the box” solution will win a trip to the 2011 Cannes Lions as well as the satisfaction one receives for a job well done.
