RTO+P Does Party Tricks for Reyka Vodka

By Patrick Coffee

Do you have any bartender friends? Do you get tired of them showing you their favorite tricks?

Red Tettemer O’Connell + Partners of Philadelphia has cooler friends with better skills.

In its newest campaign for client Reyka Vodka (owned by William Grant & Sons), the agency enlisted some New York City ‘tenders who double as brand advocates for the liquor company.

Here’s Trevor Schneider, aka “Cocktail Ninja NYC,” demonstrating his ability to break ice with his hand and a powerful toothpick:
Next, official ambassador/mixologist Charlotte Viosey demonstrates even greater dexterity with a skewer. How does she do it? We don’t know; she’s British!

Cool, but she forgot the bacon.

The release tells us that the campaign, created to live on social, will include four more such videos from other suitably hip bartender folks in the New York area.

In addition to the videos (which will be promoted on Twitter and Facebook), Reyka will sponsor “an Icelandic vending machine loaded with items unique to the brand’s culture” in the hotel hosting this week’s New Orleans-based international cocktail festival.

In case you wondered what sort of swag one might get for being a brand ambassador…
