RPA Promotes Baratelli to CCO

By Kiran Aditham

RPA is showing some love for one of its original staffers as the Santa Monica-based agency has promoted Joe Baratelli to chief creative officer. As mentioned, Baratelli has been with Rubin Postaer and Associates since it was formed back in 1986, starting out as an art director before eventually working his way up to GCD in 2010 and EVP/ECD last year.

During his quarter-century tenure at RPA, Baratelli has worked on several projects for Honda (obviously), creating among other things the “Power of Dreams” corporate campaign for the automaker and recently overseeing the Matthew Broderick-starring, Ferris Bueller-inspired Super Bowl spot for the CR-V. Now as CCO, Baratelli will continue overseeing all Honda creative work as well as that of Farmers Insurance, La-Z-Boy, Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and Tobacco Free CA.
