Rosetta Makes Some Cuts

By Kiran Aditham

Our sources confirm that Princeton, NJ (represent)-based Rosetta, which was bought up by Publicis Groupe for $575 million back in May, made approximately 20 cuts in its network of nine offices. Sources say that the cuts went across the board and affected Rosetta’s Princeton, Cleveland and one other office (yet to be determined). The layoffs, we’ve been told, have nothing to do with the Publicis acquisition but more with “better aligning where the growth goes.” The agency wants to add, though, that it’s recruiting for more than 50 open positions.
