R/GA San Francisco Expands Creative Team

R/GA welcomed five new creative hires to its San Francisco office, including executive creative director Noel Franus (pictured above).

Franus formerly served as interim chief experience officer for design agency Comrade. Before that he spent over five years as vice president, director of experience design at CP+B, founded and served as executive director for breast organization P.ink. While with CP+B, he worked with clients including Domino’s, Microsoft, American Express and Best Buy.

“Noel is a creative, a consultant, and a leader. His track history of impactful design for global brands makes him a perfect addition to R/GA,” R/GA San Francisco senior vice president, managing director Paola Colombo said in a statement. “We’re excited to partner with him to push our work even further.”

Creative director Bob Cohen arrives at the agency following a stint as a freelance creative director/copywriter, working with agencies including BBH, JWT Vietnam, Y&R Singapore, DDB and Grey. Prior to going freelance he spent a little over a year as creative director for Lowe Vietnam, following two years as a copywriter with DDB San Francisco.

Kevin Koller joins R/GA from 215McCann, where he served as associate creative director. Prior to joining 215McCann in October of 2016, he spent over nine years with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners as an art director and associate creative director.

Associate creative director Fernando Salvador will work on accounts including Google, eBay Fashion, and Masterclass. He joins the agency from MullenLowe Boston, where he served as associate creative director.

Senior art director Brian Vandeputte joins R/GA from Argonaut, where he worked with clients including Metlife, Infiniti and Fitbit, as well as helping bring in new business with Hershey.
