R/GA San Francisco Appoints Kelli Robertson as Managing Director, Planning

R/GA San Francisco announced the appointment of Kelli Robertson as managing director, planning. In the new role she will responsible developing relationships with clients, while also leading the expansion and development of her team.

Robertson joins the agency from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, where she served as group brand strategy director, a role she began in September of 2012. Prior to that she spent over three and a half years as director of strategy for AKQA. In the position, she defined the role of strategy within the office while growing the strategy team from five to over twenty employees. She originally joined AKQA back in January of 2007 as a group planning director, following stints as a senior planner with Fallon and Mullen. She arrives at R/GA with over fifteen years of planning experience, working with clients including YouTube, Red Bull, Subway, Target, Dyson and Porsche.

“Kelli’s experience with both digital and integrated campaigns and history of building out strong planning teams makes her the perfect fit for our office,” said vice president, managing director Paola Colombo, who arrived at the San Francisco office along with fellow R/GA São Paulo founder Paulo Melchiori late last year. “She is already playing a pivotal role in guiding our teams as we continue to increase our business across multiple industries.”
