R/GA New York Makes Series of Promotions in Creative Leadership Restructuring

Today R/GA announced a series of promotions as part of a leadership restructuring focused on creative services and campaigns.

Ben Williams (top) will lead creative for the products and services discipline in New York as vice president, executive creative director, products and services; Chris Northam (center) and Eric Jannon (below) will lead the campaigns discipline, also out of New York, in roles as vice president, executive creative director, communications.

Williams, Northam and Jannon will be responsible for contributing to new business efforts.

According to a press release the promotions are designed to “align R/GA’s creative organization and business model, while reinforcing the dedicated creative leadership in our Consulting, Products & Services, and Communications practices.”

“I am excited to see this incredibly talented team building on the integrated stories and systems model that has created so much success for our clients,” R/GA co-CCO, U.S. Taras Wayner said in a statement.

“Ben, Chris, and Eric’s bravery and commitment to excellence within their disciplines will inspire our teams to continue creating inspiring work for our partners and their customers,” added Chloe Gottlieb, who also serves as co-CCO, U.S. for R/GA.

The promotions follow the recent hiring of Geoff Edwards as vice president, executive creative director for R/GA Los Angeles and the promotions of Richard Ting to executive vice president, global chief design officer and Verizon account lead Erin Lynch to vice president, group executive creative director, R/GA New York.

This is the latest in a series of recent changes for the IPG network. Just over three months ago, longtime global CCO Nick Law went to Publicis in the same role.
