Production company ArtClass has added Todd Griffin as director of growth. A seasoned agency entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience in advertising and content marketing, Griffin will oversee growth strategies at the company. Before joining ArtClass, Griffin was senior director for Cognizant Interactive.

Austin Williams

Austin Williams, a digital advertising, branding and marketing agency based in Hauppauge, New York, has hired six new employees.

Jessie Cohen and Kate Hermann join as assistant account executives. Nick Mangia joins as a digital designer while Lauren Mastropaolo comes on as associate media planner. Kim Plummer joins as senior copywriter and Alexandra Zieniewicz comes on as a senior SEO strategist.

BBH

BBH USA has made several new creative hires, including group creative directors Gary Van Dzura and Adolfo Alcala, creative director duo Valeria Vanzulli and Francesca Bonomi, creative director team Amy Travis and Alex Sprouse, and associate creative director Bobby Selby.

Vanzulli was previously with Joan Creative and also held creative positions at Observatory, CAA, TBWA\Chiat\Day and Publicis Milan. Bonomi was also previously with Joan and also held positions at Observatory, CAA, TBWA\Chiat\Day and Publicis Milan. Van Dzura was a creative director at Wieden+Kennedy for over 12 years. Alcala previously held the creative director position at 72andSunny.

Other new hires include Matt Vitou, creative director based in New York; Alex Sprouse, creative director; Jack Hwang, senior art director; Sofia Coelho, junior art director; and Isabella Ciardelli, junior copywriter.

Been There, Done That

Tara Nolan, who previously worked with DiGennaro Communications and the team at Havas, has taken on a new role at Been There Done That as its first chief global growth officer.

BNZSA

BNZSA, a European IT B2B digital, data and lead generation agency has launched a programmatic display to augment its digital, data and tele offerings. With programmatic, client campaigns are fully integrated from end to end, which means BNZSA can maintain an ongoing and relevant dialogue with prospects.

Butter Music and Sound

International music shop Butter Music and Sound has signed Coke Youngblood as a staff composer out of Los Angeles. He was first an employee in the marketing department at Interscope before taking on his own projects.

Crosby Marketing

Marcos Ballestero has joined Crosby Marketing Communications as vice president, digital creative director. He will play a lead role in creative concepting and user-experience design of digital marketing campaigns, websites and mobile apps.

Most recently, he was a vp, creative director with Qorvis MSLGroup in Washington, D.C., and held similar positions with Weber Shandwick, Ketchum, and The NIH Cancer Institute.

Definition 6

Customer experience agency Definition 6 (D6) has hired Nicholas Lucin as svp/executive producer. Lucin, an Emmy Award-winning media marketing executive, will lead growth strategies, oversee current client relationships and implement creative.

Most recently, Lucin was director of creative operations for Nexstar Media Group (previously Tribune Media), and prior to that, he was design director/news graphics manager at CBS.

Durable Goods

Automotive director Rory Mckellar has joined bicoastal production company Durable Goods. Over the span of his 25-year career in commercial production, Mckellar has worked with brands including Range Rover, Jaguar, Suzuki, Hyundai, and Toyota. Beyond his automotive work, Mckellar has helmed campaigns for Sony and Pepsi, as well as music videos, reality TV and documentary series.

Edelman

Taj Reid has been named Edelman’s first ever global chief experience officer. Taj is an Edelman boomerang, working first as a creative director and then as an executive design director, building Edelman’s design and creative technology practice.

Before joining Edelman, Reid led the creative team at Microsoft that launched the HoloLens and other digital products.

Forty1

Forty1, the employee engagement division of The Creative Engagement Group (TCEG), has appointed Chris Cox as a senior communications and engagement consultant for North America. He will sit on the Forty1 North America leadership team and help drive the strategic direction of the business. Cox was previously chief marketing officer at Learnship.

Havas

After a stint at the non-profit Today, I’m Brave, Lindsay Stein has joined Havas New York as its first chief of social impact. Stein will work within the agency and with clients to drive social change.

Stein was formerly an editor at Campaign U.S. and former reporter at Ad Age and PR Week.

Imre

Imre was named global public relations agency of record for Infiniti Motor Company, continuing a near decade-long relationship for another three years, following a competitive RFP process.

As global agency of record, imre will play a key role in communicating the transformation of the Infiniti brand. As part of the three-year global contract, imre will orchestrate its modern approach to PR and support corporate and internal communications, product launch strategy and execution, as well as guide brand tone, voice and visual identity.

Joan

Creative agency Joan has hired Cheri Anderson to take on a dual role leading Joan Studios as managing director and head of production for the Joan Creative agency. Anderson will helm the ongoing expansion of Joan Studios, which launched in 2020 as a new addition to the Joan enterprise. As managing director, Anderson will oversee the entity’s full suite of production services. As head of production for the Joan Creative agency, Anderson will oversee campaign production for the agency’s portfolio of brands,

Anderson previously worked for creative agencies such as Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Chiat NY & LA, Droga 5, Deutsch NY and others. She also brings extensive production experience from her work with various companies including 1stAveMachine, Tool of North America and Believe Media.

Labelium

Labelium Miami, led by managing director Santiago Mas, is now overseeing all LATAM business, due to the agency’s growth in the region. Labelium LATAM now offers e-retail and marketplaces, ecommerce campaigns, conversion campaigns in search, shopping, GDN and Facebook Ads, as well as feed management.

Marketing Evolution

Marketing Evolution, a provider of marketing measurement and optimization solutions, has hired Andy Frawley as chief executive officer. Frawley brings to Marketing Evolution over thirty years of operating experience, having led large-scale organizations such as Epsilon, V12 and ClickSquared.

North

Portland, Oregon-based agency North has brought on two new director roles as it continues to expand its operation and design capabilities. Cindy Wade returns to North as director of operations, a first for the agency. Wade comes to North after nearly a decade at Mutt Industries. Wade will be responsible for the financial health of the agency as well as overseeing internal processes, resources and systems. She is also a board member and treasurer of ThinkNW, an industry trade organization focused on DEI and emerging talent.

North has also hired Jon Olsen as design director to bolster the agency’s brand, UX, and print design capabilities. He held design and creative director positions at Sandstrom Partners and Weiden+Kennedy before starting his own design studio in 2016.

O2kl

New York-based independent advertising agency o2kl has made a series of new hires as the agency scales to support growth.

Michael Lander joins as creative director while Michael Pretat joins as head of digital and content. Farrell Crowley becomes media director, Jason Spies becomes head of business development and Natalie Glaser has been named executive account director.

Ogilvy

Ogilvy has named Patou Nuytemans chief executive officer of Ogilvy EMEA. Nuytemans will be responsible for driving all aspects of Ogilvy’s business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa which spans public relations, growth and innovation, advertising, health and experience. She takes over for Paul O’Donnell, who will continue serving in his role as regional chairman.

Since joining Ogilvy in Belgium in 1993, Nuytemans has steadily risen through the ranks of Ogilvy, taking on management roles of increasing responsibility. She has worked on three continents across a broad range of disciplines, categories, and clients. Before being named global chief growth officer for Ogilvy Growth & Innovation in January, Nuytemans served as CEO for the MENA region for four years, where she grew Memac Ogilvy financially, operationally and reputationally.

Panoptica

Production company Panoptica has signed Los Angeles-based director Samuel Miron. Miron co-founded film company Other|Side Pictures while still in film school and went on to direct a feature-length documentary, A New High, which was later sold to Netflix.

R/GA

R/GA has promoted Cara Watson to vp, managing director of R/GA’s California office. She previously led the client services team across Los Angeles and San Francisco and worked to push creativity, strategic excellence, and business leadership for clients such as Reddit, Airbnb, Google, Stitch Fix and Roku.

Shiny

Shiny, a strategic creative services agency out of Delaware, has promoted Jeff Nichol from senior designer to art director. Nichol joined Shiny in June 2019,

St Luke’s

Independent advertising agency St Luke’s has hired senior creative team Phillip Meyler and Darren Keff. The pair has worked with St Luke’s on a freelance basis to date and now join the creative department on a permanent basis.

Meyler and Keff have spent 15 years working together at some of the U.K.’s top agencies, including M&C Saatchi.

Thinkingbox

Global creative collective Thinkingbox has promoted Christine Clark to managing partner. Clark will join current partners James O’Brien, Michael Kern and Paul Solomon, and CEO/founder Amir Sahba to further promote growth in the North American market.

After joining Thinkingbox six years ago as digital producer, Clark worked her way up as senior producer, associate manager of production and then managing director, before being named partner. She will continue to lead Thinkingbox’s Toronto initiatives.

TracyLocke

Commerce and communications agency TracyLocke has named its new executive leadership board, spanning across its hub offices in Chicago, Dallas and Wilton, Connecticut.

Michelle Tisdale was promoted to chief analytics officer and Ashish Oak was hired as chief innovation officer.

Phil Camarota has stepped into the chief creative officer role, while Sabrina Diez was promoted to senior vice president, executive creative director. Stephen Miller was named chief marketing officer, and Michael Bartlett was named chief client officer. In addition, Alex Cuevas will be joining the executive leadership board as senior director of talent management and diversity, equity and inclusion lead.
