Adam&eve

Adam&eveNYC has promoted Stuart Harrison from group strategy director to head of planning. Harrison has been with adam&eve for over six years and started at adam&eveDDB in London. He currently works on JetBlue, Peloton, and Molson Coors brands, including Blue Moon and Miller High Life. He previously ran strategy on Samsung Home Entertainment and Home Appliances.

Adara

Zeta, a cloud-based marketing technology company, and Adara, a leader in predictive consumer intelligence, have signed a multi-year data partnership to bring travel and hospitality marketers enhanced insights, on an individual level, to accelerate customer acquisition and deepen loyalty.

The partnership will create the Traveler Data Cloud, which combines the Zeta Identity Graph consisting of more than 225 million Americans with the robust travel signals from Adara’s first party data from over 300 global brands. The Traveler Data Cloud will enable marketers to identify consumers actively in market for travel, understand best ways to reach them and integrate with the Zeta Marketing Platform to activate personalized marketing programs for travel and hospitality brands.

Argonaut

Argonaut has appointed Will Burghes as head of marketing science. He joins the agency after serving as svp of insight and analytics at Citizen Relations and executive director of data and analytics at Forsman & Bodenfors New York.

Burghes will be charged with building and leading the agency’s newly formed marketing science division, which will be focused on harnessing data to help Argonaut continue to craft creative.

ArtClass

Production company ArtClass has signed director Anthony Pellino to its roster for U.S. commercial and branded content representation.

Pellino launched his career at 19 years old when he directed “Be More Human,” a spot for Reebok about the internal meditations of William H. Cavali, an amateur boxer from Brooklyn. Since then, he has helmed projects for Guinness, Lexus, and Peloton.

Bountiful Cow

Bountiful Cow, a communications and media agency, has appointed Adam Foley as its new chief executive. Foley, who will begin his new position at the start of 2022, joins from the Guardian News & Media Group, where he spent six years and became director of advertising in 2020. Prior to the Guardian, Foley spent twelve years at Starcom MediaVest where he was managing partner of strategy.

Foley replaces Henry Daglish who set up the agency in 2016 and stepped down in November.

Collins

Independent strategy and design company Collins has welcomed former intern Nicole Cousins as associate designer. Cousins first interned at Collins in 2017 as part of its program for high school designers. She then took on second and third internships at the company while studying at the Rhode Island School of Design.

Connelly Partners

Independent agency Connelly Partners (CP) has launched Connelly Partners Health (CP Health), a new dedicated health practice as part of the agency’s integrated offering. Building off the agency’s work in healthcare over the past two decades, CP Health will specialize in working with life science, med tech and healthcare organizations.

Healthcare marketing industry veteran Stephen Piotrowski joins the team as managing director of CP Health to lead the practice.

DDB

DDB has appointed Mat Bisher to chief creative officer, DDB NY to lead creative teams at the network’s flagship office. Bisher will work under the creative leadership of DDB global chief creative officer, Ari Weiss.

Bisher has 24 years of creative experience and has held creative leadership positions at agencies including McCann, BBDO, Deutsch and Burrell. He spent the majority of his career at McCann Worldgroup, where he was most recently evp, executive creative director. Bisher steps in to lead the New York creative team as Lisa Topol and Derek Barnes leave the agency later this month.

Edenspiekermann

Berlin-based design studio Spiekermann has launched its San Francisco office. In addition to Los Angeles and San Francisco, Edenspiekermann also has offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Chicago and Singapore.

The San Francisco office will be the focal point of the company’s new North America automotive practice, which will build on the company’s growth in automotive-centric UX, UI and service design. Recent automotive clients include Faraday Future and Mercedes-Benz.

Leading the San Francisco outpost will be Christian Titze, Edenspiekermann new North America’s chief strategy officer, who is returning to the company after having run the Edenspiekermann Los Angeles office as CEO from 2015 until 2017.

Edenspiekermann North America will also be bolstering its leadership team with Radhika Delfosse, who joins Edesnpiekermann as executive board member, North America. Delfosse is the former COO of HelloGiggles, now a division of Meredith.

Bert Vermeire joins Edenspiekermann as director of technology, North America after accompanying its growth as a contractor for many years. Vermeire has worked as a creative technologist and software engineer for brands such as Nike, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Pepsi Co, Martini, Levis and Red Bull.

Maria Beale will be promoted to director of program management, North America. Beale has spent her career building and running complex digital products, marketing and content ecosystems for brands including Lettuce Grow, Bikyni and Reformation before joining Edenspiekermann as senior project manager in 2018.

Exverus

Family-owned convenience retail chain Kum & Go has appointed media consultancy Exverus to handle traditional and digital media for its upcoming new menu launch. Exverus will work with the brand to bring its new menu of fresh, made-to-order food items to life and promote the launch across select test markets.

Exverus will leverage traditional, digital, and social media to reach new customers. By using social media and cashing in on Kum & Go’s already viral presence on Twitter, TikTok, and more, Exverus will harness the brand’s tongue-in-cheek social media presence to promote the brand even further.

FCB

Shaheed Peera has joined FCB Health Europe as global creative partner. Best known as founder of the Creative Floor Awards, Peera will partner with creative leaders, championing collaboration, diversity and inclusion, and continued unparalleled creative excellence across the FCB Health family of agencies.

Peera joins the IPG Health network after a career in the consumer agency world. He brings extensive client-side experience as well. His creative and strategic portfolio spans across consumer, healthcare, med comms, clinical trials, PR, social, e-commerce and DTC brands.

In his new role, Peera will champion diversity, partnering with HR and other teams to build programs and initiatives that increase the acquisition, retention, and development of diverse creative talent.

FCB Brazil has hired Pedro Araújo as the agency’s creative and innovation director. Araújo will join the agency’s creative leadership team.

In his 16-year advertising career, Araújo has won numerous awards, including a Grand Prix at Cannes, in addition to 17 Lions, and 17 Pencils at the D&AD and One Show. Previously, he was creative director at AKQA, and prior to that he was a copywriter at JWT São Paulo.

Fuse Create

Independent Toronto creative agency Fuse Create has added six people to its roster to continue to strengthen its integrated creative and strategic offerings. Art director Patrick Carter and copywriter Mike Furlong both come from stints at Dentsu One (formerly Grip). Their combined experience working with CPG, financial, and QSR clients will help them work on Ricola and CIBC at Fuse.

Rounding out the creative team hires is account supervisor Rouba Lababidi. She was formerly at UAE-based agencies Alsayegh and M&C Saatchi.

Overall, the agency has hired eight people since the start of 2021, with another seven added to sister agency Fuse Health.

Goodway Group

Goodway Group, a digital partner for advertisers, has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of industry veteran Michael Hayes as chief growth officer. In the newly created position, Hayes will lead the agency’s growth efforts across business development and sales, client experience and marketing.

Hayes joins Goodway Group with more than two decades of experience across the advertising and marketing industry. Previously, Hayes served as chief revenue and marketing officer at IdeaLab’s programmatic advertising and location intelligence platform, UberMedia. He also held the position of president and chief digital officer worldwide at Initiative.

Hawkeye

Hawkeye, a pure play CRM agency that is part of Publicis Groupe, has hired two new leaders. Ashley Bahlmann has been added as svp, media and Jack Shryne takes the role of vp, new business. The two will expand the agency’s capabilities around experience orchestration (XO)

Bahlmann brings 20-plus years of agency experience, including at Omnicom Media Group and most recently at Cramer-Krasselt. She will lead Hawkeye’s rapidly expanding media practice.

Shryne boomerangs back to Publicis Groupe, having started his career at Zenith Media before building digital marketing capabilities at Saatchi & Saatchi, including the implementation of attribution modeling, then at Razorfish.

Horizon Media

General entertainment network INSP has retained Horizon Media to strengthen marketing initiatives for the network and its subsidiaries.

“We wanted to work with an agency with a strong grasp of contemporary marketing and the media environment who could help us build on our success and continue the momentum. Horizon has a proven track record of delivering innovative ideas for their clients,” Hayes Tauber, evp of marketing for INSP, said in a statement.

Impact Museums

Immersive experience company Impact Museums has made additions to its leadership team. Jenny Weinbloom joins with over a decade of experience from Sleep No More and Meow Wolf as Impact Museum’s official head of studio.

Donna Mastropasqua joins as head of social impact. She was formerly with the Chopra Foundation. Leisha Bereson, will serve as head of marketing.

Iris

Iris North America has hired a number of senior strategists, who will continue to bolster the region’s strategic product.

Julie Massey has been appointed as head of integrated strategy for New York and Atlanta. Prior to joining Iris, she was responsible for strategy at some of the world’s largest global creative agencies including Huge.

Adrienne Houghton has been named as head of integrated strategy for Iris Chicago. She has led strategic work for agencies such as Gyro and Dentsu MB.

Ric Marshall-Nicholls joins as head of integrated strategy for Iris San Francisco. He learned his trade as a strategist at DDB in London.

Matt McLaren joins as senior strategist from Huge, and Ja’Qor “Jay” Goodwin has been hired as a strategist.

Dominik Von Jan has joined as executive strategy director of data at Iris North America, and will be responsible for further developing the agency’s data-driven experience strategy offering. He’s previously worked at agencies including RAPP, Wunderman, BBDO and AKQA.

Jordan Harper has moved across the pond after eight years at Iris London acting as technology director, CTO and strategist. Jordan will lead Iris North American digital transformation strategy as executive strategy director and will be based in Chicago.

Joan Creative

Skincare brand Proactiv announced today that it has chosen Joan Creative as its new agency of record. Joan will be charged with creating a long-term vision for the brand and connecting with new and existing consumers.

The agency will develop creative campaigns across DRTV, OLV, digital, and social, and will oversee activities across media planning, influencer marketing and PR.

Juliet

Agency Juliet has hired Roxanne Mirza and Angela Vuong as art directors. Julia Robins has joined Juliet as copywriter and Jenni Filman as designer.

Nomad

Creative editorial company Nomad has hired Steve Morris as its latest NYC senior lead flame artist. Formerly a flame artist at Method and VFX artist at Company3 before that, Morris has worked on campaigns for brands such as Squarespace, Heath and Johnson & Johnson.

Ogilvy

Ogilvy has named Ben Messiaen chief client officer for EMEA. In his new role Messiaen will work in close partnership with Ogilvy’s go-to-market team and the leaders of its five business units. Messiaen started at Ogilvy Brussels and then Ogilvy Paris, where he worked for the last 15 years. He will remain based in Paris and will continue to serve on the Mondelez account team and as a member of the Ogilvy Paris management team.

Kristie Pope will be returning to Ogilvy DC to lead its creative team in Washington D.C. as executive creative director. She brings over 15 years of experience working at the intersections of activism, creative direction, marketing, and web design. Most recently, Kristie has been working for an independent advertising agency in the DC metro area.

Pavone Marketing Group

Pavone Marketing Group (PMG), a Pennsylvania-based, independent marketing and research holding company, has acquired Manhattan-based East/West Marketing Group, bolstering PMG’s presence in New York and expanding its loyalty marketing, POS, and shopper service-line services.

East/West Marketing Group employs 12 full-time staff members and boasts an active client roster that includes Ritz, Oreo, Lysol, and Revlon. The agency will retain its name and office space in New York City.

Prophet

Prophet, a global consultancy, has added five new leaders who will enhance the firm’s digital marketing, transformation, customer experience and digital design capabilities. These new hires will also join Prophet’s growing bench of senior female leaders as the firm continues its commitment to put women in senior level roles, elevate their voices and build a more gendered-balanced workforce.

Amanda Thurston joins as partner, New York and will be a member of the firm’s marketing and sales practice. Before Prophet, she was chief marketing officer at Group M, North America, and marketing services leader at IBM iX.

Caitlyn Philips joins as partner, New York and will be a part of the digital practice after leading CX for Wunderman Thompson’s east region.

Layla Keramat joins as partner, Berlin, having designed complex systems of service and product for connected car, future mobility, future learning, telecommunication, IoT and smart cities.

Amy Laskin joins as associate partner, New York, focusing on digital marketing and content strategies. Susan Hosking joins as associate partner, San Francisco, joining Prophet’s experience and innovation practice.

Sapphire

Venture capital firm Sapphire has named Ellie Javadi as its new CMO. Javadi will drive marketing as the firm continues to expand its brand vision.

Shadow

Creative marketing agency Shadow added three new partners to its leadership. Erica Larsen and Jamie D’Attoma assume new posts as executive vice presidents, partner. Brian Vaughan, formerly executive creative director, has been named executive creative director, partner.

The leadership expansion also includes firsts for the agency’s four co-founders: Lisette Sand-Freedman becomes the agency’s first-ever chief visionary officer; Brad Zeifman its chief revenue officer, Michelle Sokoloff its chief operating officer and Liza Suloti its chief communications officer.

The new leadership promotions will further Shadow’s expansion as a full-service creative marketing agency. In addition, the agency is now working with Anastasia Beverly Hills.

Sibling Films

Indepenent creative agency Sibling Films recently added director Ashkan Memarian to its roster. Prior to joining Sibling, Memarian got his start in the industry working his way up from a production assistant to an editor, to then directing small local spots. Eventually, he went on to direct for Namesake Content, Saint Cloud and Holiday Films.

SiriusXM

Former Simplecast founder and CEO Brad Smith has been named head of podcast products for SiriusXM. In the newly-created role, Smith and his team will be responsible for SiriusXM’s podcast product strategy across all of its owned platforms, including SiriusXM, Pandora, and Stitcher, for both creators and listeners.

Sköna

Creative agency Sköna has added Stefan Nordin as business director. Most recently he was CEO at creative marketing agency Schjærven Reklamebyrå, based out of Oslo, Norway.

In addition, Matilda Sjöberg has been hired as a project manager at Sköna. Prior to joining, she was a project manager at DeoDoc and Nordisk Film TV. Anna Andersson has taken on the role of general manager at Sköna, having previously been a digital account director and producer with the agency.

Squeak E. Clean Studios

Global creative audio network Squeak E. Clean Studios has promoted Julie B. Nichols to creative director after two years as a senior composer with the company. The Chicago based composer, songwriter, music director and producer has over a decade of experience composing across commercials, film, live theater and her band.

SRW

SRW, an independent marketing agency, has named Shelly Walquist as vice president of accounts. Walquist joins the agency from Cramer-Krasselt (C-K) and previously Gravity.Labs as Group Account Director. She brings over 25 years of deep public relations, social and influencer marketing experience to the agency.

The Creative Engagement Group

The Creative Engagement Group (TCEG) has expanded Richard Burton’s role to head of strategy, alongside his current role as global managing partner of the employee engagement division Forty1.

Burton will head up a team of more than 20 strategists, planners, scientists and researchers from across TCEG. In this newly created role, he will focus on combining a diverse range of expertise including brand planning, content strategy, channel mapping, learning strategy, behavioral science, UX planning and insight generation, and capability mapping.

Tunnl

Tunnl, an audience identification and segmentation platform, has named Vinita Srivastava as its chief product officer. Srivastava joins Tunnl from Wunderman Thompson Data, where she served as vice president of product management, leading the development of products and solutions for the leveraging of first party data. Previously, she was head of product management for West Monroe Partners and also director of product management and operations for Catalina Marketing.

WB+TDP

WB+TDP a full-service multimedia agency, has hired Ariel Gallegos Hopper as art producer, where she will work as a liaison between artists and WB+TDP’s clients. Hopper joins WB+TDP from Pat Bates and Associates in New York, where she handled production and new business development for the artist representation agency.

WeThePeople

Full-service production company WeThePeople Pictures has added Tiffany Caprice as executive producer, business development to lead the sales team. Imanol Ruiz de Lara has joined the company’s team of filmmakers.

The new additions help build on the shop’s model of partnering with brands, agencies and studios to create content for all-sized productions, any medium or platform.
