As Q2 approaches, agencies everywhere are taking a hard look at their rosters, and making some changes to position themselves for success. Let’s see what agencies did to set themselves up for a successful quarter.
Jason Uzarraga joined 9Rooftops as associate creative director, bringing 20 years of experience in areas including content development, video and design to drive creative thinking and design abilities at the agency. Uzarrage has worked at agencies including DigitasLBi, Leo Burnett and Arc Worldwide with clients like Toyota, Cadillac and McDonald’s.
Nelson Cabrera, 10-time Cannes Lion Winner with accolades from LIA, Clios, ANDYs and more, is joining AllDayEveryday’s roster for exclusive representation for multicultural and general market advertising. Cabrera has worked with agencies including DDB, grey and Energy BBDO to deliver for brands including VW, Adidas and Honda.
Brave Bison has hired Chris Grimwood as managing director, social and influencer, Chris Alderman as head of SEO and digital PR and Ed Hornby as managing director of Brave Bison Commerce. The three appointments signify the agency’s continued growth and record-breaking revenue.
Citizen Relations made a series of hires in alignment with its recent launch of The Hub, a collective of art directors, copywriters and brand strategists making creative and strategy services more accessible to the agency’s account teams. The hires include Marly Dichter as junior copywriter, Shirley Xu Wang as junior art director, Travis Myers and Anton Mwewa as senior copywriters, Lindsay Page as vice president of strategy, Malav Naik as senior strategist and Evan Sue-Ping as resource manager.
Edelman announced two appointments to its senior leadership team. Jordan Atlas has been at Edelman for over seven years working with clients like Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and Taco Bell, and was promoted to chief creative officer. Melle Hock has been with Edelman for over 10 years working with EPC, eBay and Microsoft, and was promoted to chief strategy officer.
Forsman & Bodenfors
Forsman & Bodenfors New York hired Christina Falzano as managing director to oversee all client relationships at the agency. Falzano is a 20-year industry veteran with experience leading creative and strategy for brands like Shopify, Showtime, Ford and LinkedIn.
Gravity Road hired Chris Magniac as connections planner and Ryan Colet as head of client services U.S. Magniac will join the agency’s London office to help strengthen Gravity Road’s end-to-end offering while Colet will join its New York based to lead teams servicing U.S.-based global clients.
Havas Media Group
Havas Media Group promoted Ailsa Buckley, previously its deputy managing director, to chief client officer, strengthening the agency’s recent focus on client leadership and excellent client service. Buckley will work to drive the client experience, ensuring customer happiness across clientele of Havas Media, Havas Entertainment and Havas Market.
Erin Lynch joined Hero Digital, a digital customer experience transformation company, as its new chief creative officer. Lynch, who previously service as a creative executive at R/GA, will oversee and set a bold vision for Hero’s creative department.
Horizon Media named Joe Koller as its executive vice president and managing partner. Koller brings with him more than 20 years of experience in B2B and B2C digital marketing experience, having served brands like Jibe eCommerce, VentureLoop and BVA.
John Snyder joined contextual AI specialist Illuma Technology as a shareholder and investor. Snyder previously served as the founder of Grapeshot, a global adtech data provider, positioning him as the “pioneer” of contextual advertising.
Media by Mother
New York-based agency Media by Mother hired Zack Cohen as its first director of marketing intelligence. He’ll work to evolve the agency’s analytics offerings through research, asset allocation and budgeting, and utilize findings to determine advanced targeting and campaign performance optimizations.
Dave Wallace is joining MediaCom UK as its head of consumer apps, with the goal of helping clients understand how applications fit within their digital strategy and create campaigns based on those goals and understandings. Wallace brings with him 25 years of experience in technology and media, working with brands including HSBC, Noki, Unilever and Nestle.

Omnicom Media Group (OMG) has named Ralph Pardo CEO of OMG North America. In his new role, Pardo, the former CEO of OMG agency Hearts & Science, will oversee central strategy, operations and the development and adoption of transformative capabilities. Pardo succeeds Scott Hagedorn, who has held the title since 2019.

Cara Capretta joined global growth consultancy Prophet as its new chief people officer. She will work to lead the global people team, manage strategic vision development and execution and implement innovative new talent strategic for the firm. Capretta brings 30 years of experience in the space, most recently at Oracle’s human capital transformation practice.
REQ appointed Brooke Weller as its senior vice president of media. Weller brings with her more than 10 years of experience supporting large-scale, global media planning and execution programs. She’ll work at REQ to oversee the team’s operations and processes to deliver seamless client experiences across channels.
Ron Foth Advertising
Ron Foth Advertising appointed Gene Roy as its new associate creative director/video, a promotion from his previous role as senior broadcast art director. In his new role, Roy will work to lead campaign development, on-set art direction, storyboard creation, set design and studio management.
Thinkingbox appointed Dan Culic to its leadership team as director of client services. Most recently a group account director at Rethink, Culic has over seven years of experience working with clients like A&W, BCAA and Science World.
WMcCann promoted Renata Bokel to COO of the agency, with the goal of increasing operational efficiency and delivering great work to clients. Renata has worked in the agency for more than 20 years, working with brands like PepsiCo, Walmart and Vivo.
