Before we all unplug for the weekend, we’re shouting out the top hires, promotions and career shifts at agencies around the world this week.

Ambassadors

Ambassadors named Sanne Tolsma as managing director. Tolsma brings over 20 years of experience as a leader, problem solver and brand builder in advertising at companies like Ogilvy and Alfred.

American Advertising Federation

Candace Queen joined the American Advertising Federation as vice president of the AAF Mosaic Center. Queen will oversee the center’s activities and help deliver on AAF’s promise to serve as the unifying voice of advertising.

ArtClass

ArtClass signed director and photographer Matthew James Thompson for U.S. commercial representation. Thompson brings exceptional creative vision and storytelling capabilities from work with clients including BMW, Nike, Google, Jeep and Oreo.

Brightcove

Brightcove brought on Teresa Tang as senior vice president, head of analytics, data science and data engineering. Tang will expand the agency’s data strategy and build a skilled expert team to implement and build upon it.

Buck

Buck opened up a new office in London and simultaneously hired James Britton as executive producer to lead its U.K. team. Britton will lead a great production team in the U.K. and bolster the agency’s efforts in the sustainability space as its pursues its B Corp certification.

CData Software

Will Davis was appointed as chief marketing officer at CData Software. Davis will tap into 15 years of industry experience to accelerate the company’s rapid growth trajectory.

Code3

Code3 welcomed two new executive team members. Amanda Ferrante joined as chief growth officer and Stephanie Mace joined as chief client officer.

ColinKurtis Advertising

ColinKurtis Advertising promoted Kate Schupbach to creative director. Schupbach will provide management oversight and direction on creative functions to define the creative vision for clients, campaigns and messaging.

Dentsu Creative U.K.

Dentsu Creative U.K. welcomed Caroline Pay as chief creative officer. Most recently the chief creative officer at Headspace in California, Pay brings experience across brand and product design, design research and marketing and creative output.

Doceree

Doceree welcomed Vijay Adapala as executive vice president, global supply partnership. Previously a general manager at Amazon, Adapala will expand the agency’s strategic supply-side platform partnership to expand its network as it continues to grow.

Elvis

Anna Pitt is joining elvis as senior strategist. Pitt will be responsible for day-to-day strategic leadership for clients including Odeon Cinemas Group, PepsiCo, Nomad and Mondelēz.

Energy BBDO

Energy BBDO selected Daale Carter as its new managing director. Carter brings expertise across integrated marketing services, including digital media strategy, search and performance marketing.

Fetch

Fetch brought on former Twitter and Google Adtech execs to serve in strategic leadership positions. Robin Wheeler joined as chief revenue officer and Jeff Lau joined as senior vice president of partnerships and go-to-market operations.

FGS Global

FGS Global appointed Iain Twine as partner in Singapore. Twine will work to accelerate the business growth in Southeast Asia by meeting increasing demand from clients and capitalizing on inward investment.

Helium Foundation

Helium Foundation welcomed Brandyn Bissinger as head of communications. Bissinger will lead the creation of strategies to evangelize and strengthen wireless networks for the Helium ecosystem and Helium Foundation brands.

Hogarth Worldwide

Hogarth Worldwide welcomed two new creative leads to its team. Dam Samson joined as head of creative experience and innovation and Haniah Omar as creative director.

Hydrow

Hydrow promoted John Stellato from chief financial officer to president. Stellato brings expertise across financial services, industrial and retail and mergers and acquisitions areas.

Imagination

Imagination promoted Stephanie Balme to U.K. business development director. Balme will be in charge of attracting and converting new clients in line with Imagination’s growth momentum.

Laird & Good Company

Laird and Good Company announced it has grown into commercial production with a full service production division. The division is led by head of business development and executive producer Kirsty Meares, as well as its new director of production Jenny Lumpkin.

Momentum Worldwide

Momentum Worldwide welcomed Ryan Enoch as its senior vice president of strategy in the New York office. Enoch will lead the New York strategy department and serve as the strategy lead for Verizon.

MONO

Creative team Chris Yocum and Christopher Howe are returning to creative agency MONO to serve as associate creative directors. The two will work across various accounts within the creative department alongside executive creative director Katie Riddle

Octagon U.K.

Octagon U.K. promoted Ryan Shaw to executive creative director. Shaw will lead the creative, planning, strategy and production output in the U.K., while also providing support to key European clients.

Ogilvy

Ogilvy welcomed Kappie Kopp to lead as senior vice president of creative communications. Kopp will work to strengthen the agency’s creative reputation through brand storytelling, showcasing its creative ideas and talent impacting business and culture.

PureRED

PureRED appointed Umesh Sripad as its first chief product officer. Sripad brings more than 16 years of experience in digital technologies, product innovation and data and insights.

Shape+Light

Shape+Light made three new promotions to strengthen its leadership team. Aidan Thomas and Aaron Neitz were promoted to creative directors and Cara Lehr to managing director.

Sonic Union

Sonic Union named Halle Petro its new executive creative director. Petro will work to deepen the studio’s sonic storytelling experiences for entertainment and advertising, including collaborations with music and sound narratives.

Theorem

Theorem appointed Mark Wilson in the newly established position of director of human resources. Wilson will oversee the company’s brand culture and people strategy in relation to talent management, learning and development, employee engagement and talent acquisition.

TorchHouse Studio

TorchHouse Studio welcomed Chad Martin as studio content director. Martin brings more that 30 years of experience in brand, social and content strategy with companies like Mazda, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Gatorade and Express.

TripleLift

TripleLift brought on Joyce Liu as its new chief financial officer to lead the company through its next phase of growth. Liu will lead financial operations for TripleLift as it expands its audience targeting, connected television and retail media roadmap.

UTA

UTA announced 65 promotions across 20 departments. These promotions spanned teams from motion picture literary to music to endorsements and voiceover.

Viant

Viant appointed Ben Avenia-Tapper as its new vice president of investor relations. Avenia-Tapper will lead the agency’s investor relations strategy and oversee its relationships with its shareholders and financial community.

Wavemaker U.K.

Wavemaker U.K. appointed Nathan O’Connor as head of paid social. O’Connor will lead the delivery and performance of social for clients, while also developing new models, services and talent within the discipline.

Wunderman Thompson Canada

Wunderman Thompson Canada named a new CEO, Vaishali Sarkar. Previously the CEO at Wunderman Thompson Indonesia, Sarkar will now lead offices in Toronto and Montreal with clients like HSBC, Microsoft and automotive brands.

Wunderman Thompson U.K.

Wunderman Thompson U.K. named Anna Jehan as its new head of product design. Jehan willl champion excellence in product design, join brand storytelling and technology and draw in insights for client strategy.

Zulu Alpha Kilo

Zulu Alpha Kilo welcomed Emily Garvey as its first head of strategy in New York. Garvey joins from her previous role at Johannes Leonardo, where she drove new business garnering client wins like Instagram, Oscar Mayer, HBO Max and Amazon Music.
