Agencies came in hot this week with news of global expansion, 2023 restructuring plans and investments in new company offerings. See who’s leading today’s agencies into new eras of success in this week’s roster updates.


Kristina Katsoulas joined 9Rooftops as its senior public relations manager. With over 15 years of industry experience, Katsoulas worked with clients including Hard Rock Café, New Amsterdam Gin, Paula’s Choice and Procter & Gamble.


Allionce Group

Leading marketing agency connecting brands to parents with young kids through zoos and aquariums, Allionce Group, promoted Rachelle Cullum to vice president, director of client services. In this role, Cullum will lead the client services team and manage the solutions team, to provide a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.


Gaby Sethi was hired as the global head of impact for global omnichannel agency Assembly. In this role, Sethi will strengthen Assembly’s social and environmental impact proposition and lead strategic initiatives to deliver measurable impact, with the goal of making Assembly a certified B Corp.

Astound Commerce

Will Linebarger was named the vice president of composable commerce at Astound Commerce. Bringing experience from previous roles at Accenture, Belk, Biztech, eBay Enterprise and the University of Pennsylvania, Linebarger will lead Astound’s composable and headless digital commerce efforts.

Blue Chip

Blue Chip announced seven promotions, including Sonja Leskinen to vice president of business intelligence and strategy, Bradley Slavick to director of client leadership, Gina Giordano to associate director of client leadership, Julie Kahn to associate director of digital strategy, Jaimie Scott and James Bright to senior client leaders, and Carly Rossdeutcher to senior associate of integrated media activation.

Conscious Minds

After being named to the Inc. 5000 list, Conscious Minds has promoted 10 company leaders to associate partners. Appointments include director of production Autumn Hymes, creative directors Chris Kitahara and Lauren Kusmierczak, director of studio operations Constance Kaita, studio directors Doug Raschio and Emily Shen, director of strategy Robby Egan, director of innovation Santino Stoner and director of finance Tracy Foster.

DDB Worldwide

DDB Worldwide welcomed back Regina Chung Loy as its senior director, global marketing and communications. After taking a break to hold positions at Omnicom and Dentsu, Chung Loy returned to the agency to partner with global chief marketing and communications officer Donna Tobin on strategic B-to-B marketing and communications.

Effie U.K.

Effie U.K. announced 27 finalists for its 2022 competition in the U.K. Highlights include Grey London with four nods—and adam&eveDDB and Havas with three nods each. Winners will be announced at Ideas That Work: 2022 Effie UK Leadership Summit & Awards Celebration in October.

Engine Digital

Engine Digital made two new key hires to deepen its presence in Toronto and challenge traditional consultancies. Steven Chabot joined as managing director and Brian Wong joined as strategy director, business design.


Randa Stephan joined Hill+Knowlton Strategies as its global chief marketing and communications officer. A seasoned industry veteran, Stephan will lead the agency’s corporate brand, marketing and internal and external communications across its network of 73 offices and 41 countries.


New Orleans-based advertising agency PeterMayer appointed Laura Thomas as its new senior vice president, director of strategy. Thomas joins from her previous role at Curiosty, where she contributed to the agency’s recent new business winning streak.

MMGY Global

MMGY Global is rolling out new changes for its leadership team in 2023. Current CEO Clayton Reid will move to executive chairman, Katie Briscoe will become CEO and Craig Compagnone will become president and COO.

Pink Sparrow

Cathryn Garcia-Menocal joined Pink Sparrow, a design and fabrication shop for experiential event marketing, retail and art installations, as its new design director. Garcia-Menocal is an accomplished architect and designer, specializing in creative production, sculpture and architectural design.


Global digital performance marketing agency Tug welcomed Darra Naiman as its managing director Toronto. Coming from her previous role as associate director at OMD Canada’s Toronto office, Naiman will now work to double the size of the business in Canada over the next two years.

Vivaldi Group

Vivaldi Group added Michael Monheim to its global leadership team as partner, media and entertainment. In this role, Monheim will work with the company’s roster of clients—and grow its portfolio in the media and entertainment space.


VTProDesign expanded its senior leadership team with two new appointments. Jennifer Mullen joined as vice president of people and culture—and Jon Lerner joined as director of permanent experiences.
