Revolving Door Roster Updates: Alkemy X, Fox Agency, Team One & More

A new month and a new quarter kick off with a curated recap of the top agency hires, promotions and transitions from this week.

Alkemy X

Sue Fallon was promoted to the position of executive producer at entertainment company Alkemy X. In this new position, Fallon will work alongside executive creative director Ruper Cresswell to run the company’s creative studio.

Bindery

Priscilla Colón was named the new head of post at NYC-based film and branded content studio Bindery. With a history of working with brands like Chick-Fil-A, Microsoft, Mastercard and Coke, Colón will now run Bindery’s post department, managing the team’s staff and collaborating with creative and production departments to execute on projects.

Crosby

Crosby Marketing Communications has hired Deborah Boyd as vp of talent management and human resources. Boyd will lead Crosby’s talent management initiatives, recruitment, and diversity, equity and inclusion programs. She will also oversee Crosby’s employee benefits program.

Edelman

Edelman worked with The One Club for Creativity to hire four graduates from the ONE School, the organization’s free online portfolio platform for Black creatives. The hires, including Brittany Jones, Alise Crittendon, Matthew Wedderburn and Josh Ayala, took on full-time positions with the agency’s global creative team.

Fox Agency

Emma Loizidis was appointed the first head of people for Fox Agency. Previously the group people manager at Mediacom U.K., Loizidis brings with her 15 years of HR and recruitment experience to the role, where she will ensure a people-focused core for the company.

Framestore Pictures

Commercial director and cinematographer Ivan Bird just signed on for representation in the U.S. and Canada at Framestore Pictures. Bird has worked with talent, including Harrison Ford, Iris Elba and Kate Winslet, for brands including Land Rover, Mercedes and Nike.

M&C Saatchi Group

M&C Saatchi Group hired Taz Latif as its new global head of diversity, equity and inclusion. Latif previously worked as an independent DEI consultant, gaining high-level clients including Unilever, NHS, Spotify and Samsung.

Ogilvy Paris

Delphine Mazeau joined Ogivly Paris as its director of communications. Mazeau will work alongside agency presidents Matthieu Elkaim and Emmanuel Ferry to lead business development in France and internationally. Her remit will include press relations, public relations, internal communications, e-reputation and awards management.

OH Partners

OH Partners named Meagan Jackman as its president. Jackman, who in the last four years has served as the agency’s public relations director, vp of business strategy and managing director, will now manage OH’s Phoenix and Las Vegas offices.

Quigley

Jerry Sommerville joined female-owned full service advertising agency Quigley as its new vice president, head of activation. In this role, Sommerville will lead media activation for search, social and programmatic across the agency’s portfolio.

Red Tettemer O’Connell + Partners

Joshua Bull was hired as a new associate creative director for Philadelphia-based creative agency RTO+P. In this new role, Bull will strategize and craft creative and oversee junior level creatives to ultimately deliver for clients like Dietz & Watson, Nesquik and Nature’s Bakery.

Spark Foundry

Rebecca Candeland was appointed as the new head of AV for Spark Foundry. Candeland will oversee a team of nearly 40 people to ensure delivery of best-in-class activity for clients, while also developing and influencing the promotion of all new services and products.

Squeak E. Clean Studios

Cecil Coleman joined global creative audio network Squeak E. Clean Studios as its music licensing manager, Australia. In this role, Coleman will utilize her experience as a multi-instrumentalist and student of music to curate tracks and oversee artist collaborations for clients and campaigns.

Team One

Team One, Publicis Groupe’s media, digital and communications agency for premium brands, hired industry veteran Mark Koelfgen as its newest executive creative director. In this role, Koelfgen will work on clients including Lexus, Marker Levinson, Sparklight and Make-A-Wish.

Thesis

Keely York has been appointed as the new CEO of Portland-based digital agency Thesis, formerly known as eROI. York will assume day-to-day leadership of the agency. Ryan Buchanan, founder and exiting CEO, will move into a senior advisory role on Thesis’s board of directors—and more fully devote his time toward creating a community that helps close the equity gap. York and Buchanan’s working relationship began more than a decade ago, when York started as an account coordinator at eROI.

Weber Shandwick

Communications and marketing solutions agency Weber Shandwick has promoted Angela Mears to global executive creative director. An 11-year veteran of Weber Shandwick, Mears most recently served as executive creative director of the agency’s U.S. West region, leading creative in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. In her new role, she will partner with client, strategy and creative leaders to establish borderless teams and new ways of working, leading the Airbnb, McDonald’s and Ingka accounts.
