Another Friday means another Revolving Door Roster Updates, this week with creative new hires and promotions stemming from around the world. Check out who moved vertically and horizontally to new roles this week.

160/90

160/90 is welcoming two industry veterans to its leadership team. Kim Harris, previously at McCann Worldgroup as svp executive strategy director on Verizon, will serve as cvp of cultural strategy and insights. Jessica Sinn, most recently management director of growth at Publicis Groupe’s Team One, is joining as svp of business development.

Bounteous

Raju Patel is joining Bounteous as managing director with the goal of driving strategic relationships with banking and finance clients, while leading a growing focus on industrial, manufacturing and technology. Patel comes with 23 years of experience at Publicis Sapient, where he served as group vice president and business lead for financial services in Canada and the U.S. Midwest.

Cut+Run

Los Angeles EP Amburr Farls and Jogger creative director Andy Brown are joining as company partners at Cut+Run.

Farls has served as senior producer and head of production at Cut+Run, leading large-scale projects in broadcast, digital, social and film. Brown was the founding partner/co-owner in the first VFX division of Cut+Run in London, helping to define and develop Jogger Studios, contributing to bringing hundreds of projects to life and leading high-end VFX, motion graphics and color grading carried out on projects globally.

Intermark Group

Laura Lee is joining Intermark Group as its new vice president, replacing the agency’s previous svp, communications and media director Jim Poh, who’s now retiring. Lee brings over 14 years of experience as a leader of the media department at Jackson Spalding—and her responsibilities will include oversight of the communications and media department, as well as work with all of the firm’s clientele.

Invisible Universe

David Levy, the former director of animation at Disney+, is joining Invisible Universe as its chief creative officer. Levy has over 20 years of experience in animation and development for The Walt Disney Company, Viacom International, Warner Bros and more.

At Invisible Universe, he will work in partnership with CEO Tricia Biggio to innovate within the company’s client pipeline.

Fig

Indie creative agency Fig hired Laura Osborne as its creative director, responsible for working on agency client Noom. Osborne has 13 years of experience working with brands like Kraft Heinz and Molson Coors.

GSD&M

GSD&M promoted two of its senior employees to executive creative directors: Tom Hamling, previously group creative director, and Maria D’Amato, previously head of experience design. The two have worked on award-winning projects with clients including Avocados from Mexico, Pizza Hut, Popeyes and Southwest Airlines.

Jones Knowles Ritchie

Design-led creative company Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR) welcomed two new hires this week, and promoted a company veteran to a new role.

After six years at the company, JB Hartford was promoted to group creative director. Rich Greco, former executive design director at advertising agency Droga5 and Rich Tu, former vp of digital design at MTV, are both joining the company in the same role as Hartford. All will work with executive creative director Lisa Smith to shape creative culture and grow the team.

Merkle Americas

Merkle Americas named Pete Stein as its new president following the appointment of its former president, Michael Komasinski, as its CEO. Stein has served as the global lead for Merkle’s experience and commerce practice since 2020 and will now work to scale integrated client solutions and customer experience transformation.

Mondo Robot

Digital product agency Mondo Robot hired Lisa Schiavello as executive creative director, experience design. Coming from her previous role as creative director/design principal, CX at Infosys, Schiavello has a vast background in digital product design and creative leadership, working with clients like American Express, Ann Taylor and Starwood Hotels.

At Mondo Robot, Schiavello will work with clients including Vail Resorts, Coachella and the Michael J. Fox Foundation to reimagine the potential of human-centered design.

Netrush

Ecommerce accelerator Netrush hired Shane Atchison is its new CEO. Formerly the CEO of Wunderman Thompson, Atchison is eager to scale the company’s market penetration within the growing sector of ecommerce. The accelerator will do so by partnering with brands to provide full-service solutions, profiting when partner companies make sales, instead of off retainers.

OS Studios

NY-based gaming agency OS Studios promoted Will Abreu, formerly senior live producer, to head of broadcast. With over 11 years of experience in gaming and esports, Abreu has produced over 150 events including the Arena World Championships and (RED) Creator Cup 2021. His new role will focus on expanding the broadcast team and growing the control room environment.

Publicis Media U.K.

Publicis Media U.K. appointed Rachel Hall to lead PMX Lift, its new advanced TV solution. With extensive experience in TV business, Hall will be responsible for building the PMX Lift capabilities in the U.K., guiding partners and clients through video and TV transformations alongside changing consumer habits, and building and nurturing relationships with media owners, technology providers and data partners.

Publicis Media U.S.

APX Content Ventures, the content investment arm of Publicis Media focused on mission-driven and diverse content production, hired Allie Dvorin to oversee its U.S. branch. Dvorin is an Emmy-award-winning executive producer, professional writer and director, bringing extensive experience in entertainment. At APX, Dvorin will drive and manage partnership deals with producers and distributors to build opportunities for Publicis Media clients.

R/GA

R/GA announced a few new additions to its global creative leadership team this week. Gabriel Cheung and Chapin Clark, both previously the voice of R/GA’s twitter, were promoted to global executive creative director. Nikhil Mitter was appointed to the role of global creative director.

The team carries extensive industry experience. Cheung has 14 years of experience working with clients like Nike and American Express. Clark has over 20 years of experience helping companies find their voice on social media. Mitter has worked to build significant relationships at R/GA with clients including Verizon, Nike and Samsung.

ScienceMagic.Inc

Brand and business building company ScienceMagic.Inc is welcoming Maximilian Weigl as the lead of planning and strategy. In this role, Weigl will devise creative strategy, platform and plan for SMI’s clients, and develop internal business and growth strategy.

Squeak E. Clean Studios

Global creative audio network Squeak E. Clean Studios hired Suat Onur Ayas, M.P.S.E., as its senior sound engineer. Ayas has 15 years of experience in sound design and audio, has worked with a variety of clients including McDonald’s, GQ, HBO and Xbox, and holds Emmy nominations for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Limited Series, Movie or Special for his work on Netflix acclaimed miniseries When They See Us.

TMB

Rose Ferraro is joining community-driven entertainment company TMB as its chief revenue officer. The latest of 90 new hires in 6 months, Ferraro is joining the company as it accelerates growth in streaming and social video. She will oversee direct ad sales for TMB’s portfolio of brands, including FailArmy, Reader’s Digest and Taste of Home.

Wunderman Thompson Germany

Stephan Laemmermann is moving into a new role at Wunderman Thompson Germany as its chief growth officer, aiming to drive operation innovation in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Erlangen, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart. Laemmermann previously served as the agency’s chief technology officer, strengthening technology partnerships with the help of his background in lead creative roles.

Wunderman Thompson New York

Simone Nobili, known for his Transatlantic creative podcast, is joining Wunderman Thompson New York as group creative director. Nobili has traveled the world working with companies including LinkedIn, Leo Burnett, TBWA and Cutwater, receiving 40+ accolades from Pencils at One Show, Cubes at ADC and a Gold Lion in the Cyber category at Cannes.
