As we finish up the final week before holiday season officially begins, agencies are coming in hot with new partnerships, campaign launches, acquisitions and honors. Dive in to see who’s winning right now in the world of agencies.

Adams & Knight

Adams & Knight was awarded Best of Show at the 67th Annual Advertising Club of Connecticut Awards Show. This is the second straight year the agency has taken home the highest honor of the night.

Amp Agency

McGraw Hill appointed Amp Agency to market its new study app, Sharpen, to college students. Amp Agency worked with McGraw Hill to create the brand identity, name and digital campaign focusing on how college students interact with brand content.

Asia

The agency Asia, a spin-off of the Brazilian agency Africa, has launched, focusing on creating digital and physical connections and experiences for brands. The agency will be led by Sérgio Brandão (CEO), the ex-chief growth officer at Africa, and by Vico Benevides (CCO), the ex-CEO and CCO at GTB (WPP). Asia’s investors include the Omnicon Group and Africa’s co-presidents, Márcio Santoro and Sérgio Gordilho.

Assembly

Assembly, a Stagwell agency, joined The Attention Council, a coalition of adtech companies promoting attention as the primary metric for understanding advertising and increasing adoption of cross-platform attention metrics in media planning, buying and selling.

Art of the Possible

Art of the Possible was chosen by bibigo seaweed snacks as its strategic and creative agency of record to launch bibigo as a consumer brand across Europe. The activation will engage lovers of Asian food and health-conscious consumers to offer a tasty alternative to blander snacks.

Digital Ethos

Certified B-Corp Digital Ethos was acquired by Cadastra, a global marketing, technology, business strategy, data and analytics solutions company. The acquisition will add an array of clients to Cadastra’s roster as well as 50 digital marketing specialists from Digital Ethos.

Finn Partners

Tru Earth chose Finn Partners as its U.S. integrated public relations and marketing agency of record. Finn will deliver integrated marketing strategy and activation, including creative campaign development, product sampling, thought leadership and partnership support.

Guacamole Airplane

Design company Guacamole Airplane has launched a new iteration of its free, global Sustainable Packaging Supplier Guide. For this new version, the company is offering hands-on assessments of each material and company listed. This means that beyond photos and surface-level descriptions, explanations of how to properly dispose of each material and how to actually design with it are provided.

Havas Group

Havas Group acquired Bastion Brands, fostering its continued expansion in the APAC region. The acquisition doubles down on Havas Group’s exponential growth and significant evolution in the Asia Pacific region.

Incubeta

Global investment firm Carlyle has acquired a majority stake in Incubeta, a digital marketing company and one of a select few globally certified Google Marketing Platform partners.

Intersection

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) has expanded its transit system with the opening of the Central Subway line, and as part of this new development, SFMTA has expanded its contract with Intersection, including a five-year extension of the base contract and the deployment of large format static and engaging digital media assets throughout these new stations. As a long term transit  advertising partner of the SFMTA, Intersection’s contract will now run through June 2029.

MagicLinks

Influencer marketing platform MagicLinks was ranked number 208 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list, which features top-growing technology companies like Snap and Roku. The recognition coincides with MagicLinks’ 725% revenue growth over the past year, which it attributes to its proprietary data insights and devoted employee talent.

PMG

PMG is partnering with Tarrant County College to launch the Digital Creator Accelerator, a program aiming to train more than 1,000 TCC students in digital, marketing and advertising over the next five years. During that time, PMG will also award $50,000 in merit scholarships to 50 program participants.

Quirk Creative

Quirk Creative launched Quirk FemHealth, a new practice helping global feminine health and wellness brands create stronger connections within their target market. Quirk FemHealth is working with brands like Athena Club, Flo Health, Innovo and National Abortion Federation.

Six+One

Independent creative, branding and production agency Six+One has partnered with Seagram’s Escapes to develop an enhanced digital strategy for the brand in 2023. Six+One will work across the entire brand portfolio including Seagram’s Escapes, Seagram’s Spiked and Seagram’s Cocktails, to build a new digital brand hub and connected ecosystem with the goal of driving greater community engagement.

Supermetahumanfutures

Industry leaders joined forces to launch supermetahumanfutures, a company leveraging the world’s foremost technologists, entertainment talents and business leaders to cultivate equitable, inclusive and sustainable brands. Founders include former Virgin global head of brand Jay Kossifos, celebrity brand builder Ryan Tomlinson and Yorn Levine entertainment law firm founding partner Kevin Yorn.

Toluna

Consumer insights provider Toluna acquired Further, a qualitative research technology. The acquisition will enable Toluna Start to provide clients with quantitative and qualitative real-time research capabilities.
