Report: Draftfcb’s Top Brass Begin Layoff Discussions

In the wake of the huge SC Johnson loss, it was only a matter of time that the dreaded “L” word would be brought up in Draftfcb’s inner sanctum. Crain’s Chicago Business is reporting that agency’s top two execs, CEO/president Laurence Boschetto and global CFO Neil Miller, would be flying into Chicago today to discuss the issue of layoffs with Draft Chi’s president Michael Fassnacht and other senior managers. According to the trade, the cuts could total 200-250 in the Chicago office alone, which equates to 25 percent of the workforce in the Windy City.
