If you can get past the annoying, hysterical commentator, what you have here is kind of a moronic publicity stunt that basically doubles as a Reese’s commercial. Here, a guy climbs to the top of the Brooklyn Bridge, takes the plunge and conveniently lands in a giant Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup floating by as the loud Italian lady serves as his only cheering section. Like Gothamist says, we’re pretty sure some sort of special effects/camera tricks were involved in this effort, which for better or worse serves its purpose.
