Red Tettemer Celebrates Holidays with Ode to Overexposed Pop Star

By Kiran Aditham

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to attend the “Festival of Trees” or whatever it’s called in Philly this week, but thankfully Eric Smith over at the blog Geekadelphia was and managed to capture this rather, um, unique Christmas tree from hometown design firm/agency Red Tettemer. The indie outfit, which acquired fellow Philly shop Stick and Move earlier this month and perhaps more notably gave our former editor tummy aches way back when, unveiled this “Lady Gaga Christmas Tree.”

According to the blog, “Crafted with vinyl, steel, awesome steampunk-esque goggles, and multicolored lights, this ‘Monster’ of a tree (did you see that? did you see what I did there?) was absolutely stunning, and stood out in the gorgeous hotel restaurant.” Looks like RT’s design chops came in handy, but we’re not sure if the self-proclaimed “Fame Monster” needs any more tributes/exposure.
