Razorfish, R/GA Vet Heads to Strategy, Design and Tech Firm Reaktor as President, North America

Helsinki, Finland-based global strategy, design and technology firm Reaktor hired Mark Cibort, former Razorfish managing director, as president, North America.

In the role, Cibort will be responsible for all strategic, operational and business aspects for Reaktor in North America. Cibort most recently served as managing director for the Los Angeles offices of Publics Groupe’s Razorfish, SapientRazorfish and Publicis Sapient, where he led accounts including Honda and HPE. Prior to that he spent around two years at Engine Group, where he served as president, digital for Trailer Park and president of the Los Angeles office of Deep Focus. That followed a decade at R/GA, where he rose to group managing director and worked with clients including Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and Unilever.

Reaktor also moved Eetu Blomqvist into the newly created role of chief delivery officer. Blomqvist previously served as CEO, North America. He joined Reaktor as a principal consultant in 2013 and has also served as chief technology officer, North America, working with clients including Adidas and ViacomCBS. His new role will focus on refining and scaling Reaktor’s global delivery and collaboration model. In a statement, Blomqvist said he “couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity.”
