Rash of Promotions, One Hire at Deutsch NY

Deutsch New York CEO Val DiFebo announced eleven promotions and a new hire today.

Get ready.

James Cowie and Rich Kolopeaua, four year veterans of the agency, were both promoted from associate creative director to VP/creative director, while Shreya Mukherjee added a VP to her title as planning director. Kristen Rincavage was promoted from vice president/account director to senior vice president, account director; Sarah Rankin was promoted from vice president/digital group media director to senior vice president/digital group media director; Lisa Conneely was promoted from vice president/director of data analytics to senior vice president/director of data analytics; and Scott Lindenbaum was promoted from vice president/digital planning director to senior vice president/digital planning director.

Beyond all those additional seniors, other staffers added an “E” to their titles. SVP/group account director Tyler Helms was promoted to executive vice president/group account director; senior vice president/director of talent Katherine Moncrief was promoted to EVP/director of talent; SVP/group planning director Robert Schwartz was promoted to executive vice president/group planning director; and senior vice president, director of data analytics Rich VanSteenburgh was promoted to EVP/director of data analytics.

Whew, that was exhausting. But wait, we’re not done!

Deutsch New York also hired Denise Guillet as senior vice president/group account director. The 25 year account management veteran arrives at the agency following a period freelancing in business director positions with BBH Group and McCann HumanCare. Prior to that, she spent around a year and a half with mcgarrybowen as a group managing director, working with JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Roundabout Theatre Company. She also spent over six and a half years with McCann Erickson, serving as senior vice president/group director and working with clients such as Pfizer, Staples, Intel and Xbox global.
