Quigley-Simpson named Alan Cohen as its new president and CEO, tasked with overseeing all of the agency’s creative, planning and media operations out of its New York office.
Cohen replaces Angela Zepeda in the role, who left Quigley-Simpson to join Innocean as senior vice president, business development in November.
“As Quigley-Simpson continues to grow and expand, we needed to find a visionary leader and seasoned strategist who could take our growth to the next level,” Quigley-Simpson co-chairman Gerald Bagg explained in a statement. “With Alan’s extensive background across all media platforms and a long track record of business development success, we knew we found the right person.”
Cohen joins Quigley-Simpson from Giant Spoon, the strategy and marketing innovation agency he co-founded in 2013. Prior to Giant Spoon he served as U.S. CEO for Omnicom media agency OMD for five years, following four years as president at IPG Mediagroup’s Initiative West. He previously worked in television, spending several years in the marketing departments of Fox, NBC and ABC.
“I’m excited to join Quigley-Simpson and be a part of their continued success,” Cohen said in a statement. “I look forward to increasing integration between creative and media and to building the client portfolio.”
