Publicis Sapient Expands Experience Team With 2 Senior Hires

Publicis Sapient has expanded its experience team with the hires of svp, experience Karin Giefer and group creative director Quinnton Harris.

According to a press release, Publicis Sapient’s recently introduced experience team combines “data, machine learning, and creativity to craft customer-centric experiences.”

Giefer will work closely with Publicis Sapient chief experience officer John Maeda to operationalize Publicis Sapient’s experience system. In addition to serving as a group creative director, Harris will also act as Maeda’s chief of staff, tasked with maximizing exchange across Publicis Sapient’s global experience team.

A data and A.I. expert, Giefer arrives at Publicis Sapient from consultancy McKinsey & Co. Prior to joining McKinsey last year, she spent nearly two years as executive creative director at design firm frog, following a brief stint as director of business innovation at Wieden + Kennedy.

Prior to joining Publicis Sapient, Giefer was the inaugural creative director at media company Blavity. Before that he led design at Walker & Company Brands, a start-up consumer products and tech company recently acquired by Proctor & Gamble. He also spent nearly four years with Digitas New York as an art director and senior experience designer.
