Ohio comprehensive healthcare system Premier Health has selected Detroit-based Doner as its agency of record following a review. The agency is tasked with leading integrated brand and internal marketing campaigns for the network and promoting its core offerings.
Sources close to the matter said the review featured around a dozen full-service and healthcare specialist agencies. Incumbent Devito/Verdi declined to participate in the review.
“In a strong field of competitors, Doner came to the table with data-driven insights and a unique and powerful point of view on our category and market, not to mention proven experience partnering with a range of healthcare providers to differentiate them from the competition,” Premier Health system vice president of marketing and communications Kathy Harper said in a statement.
“The healthcare category is under immense pressure, and Premier Health has a real opportunity to stand out in a crowded market,” added Doner CEO David DeMuth. “We’re thrilled to help bring Premier Health’s message of quality care, and improved access to physicians and services, to the communities of the southwest Ohio region.”
Doner already debuted its first work for Premier Health last month. The appointment is the latest in healthcare related accounts for the agency, which also works with Allegheny Health Network, Beaumont, Children’s Mercy Kansas City and Summa Health. On the opposite end of the health spectrum, McDonald’s also expanded its relationship with Doner last year.
