Pandora Jewelry Selects Grey NY as Lead Creative Agency in Americas

By Erik Oster

pandoraJewelry manufacturer Pandora has selected Grey New York as its lead creative agency in the Americas, Adweek reports. The appointment follows a review which also included Young & Rubicam and JWT. Prior to the appointment, the client had been “working with agencies on a project basis, with no incumbent.” Pandora also announced the selections of Maxus network as its media agency and Cohn & Wolfe as its lead PR agency.

Denmark-based Pandora sells its products in over 80 different countries and spends an estimated $80 million on measured media in the U.S. The company prides itself on its “responsible business practices” and affordable jewelry, offering “competitive wages and benefit packages that include free meals, free bus transport, scholarships, library services, maternity classes, extra holidays” and more to workers in its Thai manufacturing facilities, according to its website.

The account win will be welcome news at Grey, which suffered a series of staffing cuts in December after longtime client Eli Lilly decided to consolidate work on one of its pharmaceutical products.
