Omelet’s Effort Promoting Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation Features ‘Real Hunts, Real Stunts’

Omelet gathered six unsuspecting guys named Ethan Hunt and tested out their spy skills in its effort promoting the Blu-ray release of Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.

The stunts in question include tactical driving, sky diving and a helicopter jump. “Real Hunts, Real Stunts” is sort of a one-trick pony and the schtick wears out its welcome well before the end of the two and a half minute spot. Fans of the film could foreseeably find it interesting for part of its duration but it seems like they missed an opportunity to edit the spot down to just its highlights and it’s hard to imagine the spot converting anyone who hasn’t already seen the movie. Given how few stunts were covered, and how self-evident the idea behind the spot was, that could have been fairly easy to accomplish.
