Nokia Splits from W+K

By Kiran Aditham

Wait, didn’t we just cover possibly the most ambitious campaign for the brand yet? Guess the goodwill perished like Pauly Shore’s acting career. Anyhow, the reports are flooding in that Nokia has indeed parted ways with W+K London, which has served as its global AOR since 2007, and that Fallon and Inferno have now taken over the show.

In a statement, Nokia’s VP for marketing creation Steven Overman says, “Wieden & Kennedy has supported us through a significant period in Nokia’s development. The last six months has marked an important shift in our business strategy. This has naturally resulted in us continuing to evolve the relationships with our wide network of agency partners. I want to thank Wieden & Kennedy for its excellent work and contribution to Nokia’s business.”
