No Wukkas: National Geographic Seeks Young at Heart Director of Advertising and Strategy

It’s a jungle out there, but you can seek refuge with this great gig. National Geographic is looking for a director of advertising and strategy to increase ad growth and develop sales strategies for its kids division.

In this role, you’ll work on creating new ad revenue opportunities for National Geographic’s various platforms, including its magazine, website, books, mobile properties and more. You’ll establish category focus and competitive positioning, and act as a liaison between editorial, consumer marketing and business operations.

To be considered, you’ll need 10 years of related experience in advertising sales and marketing, with both print and digital experience. You should have a proven track record of driving large integrated media deals, as well as strong financial, marketing and business skills. Experience in the kids market is a major plus. Interested?
