Epic Signal, the social agency acquired by Mekanism in July of 2015, has hired Nick DiLallo as its first creative director.

DiLallo joins Epic Signal from McCann New York, where he has spent nearly the past two years as an associate creative director. He originally joined the agency in 2013 as a copywriter, quickly rising to senior copywriter the next year and associate creative director in early 2015. Prior to joining McCann New York he spent two years as a copywriter with Publicis Kaplan Thaler and then a year as an instructor at Miami Ad School.

While at PKT, DiLallo ran social media for Wendy’s (which went to VML back in March), and at McCann he worked on General Mills, Jose Cuervo, and Office Depot/Office Max.
