M:united//McCann Names New Head of Integrated Production

M:united//McCann promoted Carolyn Johnson to head of integrated production.

In the role, Johnson will lead integrated production across all media platforms and be responsible for growing the agency’s production capabilities.

Sources claim Johnson is replacing Aaron Kovan as he is heading to VaynerMedia, but the agency did not clarify this detail.

“C.J. has that rare set of skills that have helped us make some of our most creative work for one of our largest global clients,” McCann New York co-CCO Sean Bryan added. “The magic that she brings to every production, and to her entire team, has made a huge difference, and we couldn’t be prouder to have her leading the way.”

Johnson joined m:united in August of 2014 and formerly served as executive producer. Before joining the agency she spent two years as head of integrated production at Ogilvy & Mather Los Angeles, following around four years at CP+B during which she rose from video production coordinator to integrated producer. Over the course of her career she has worked with brands including Microsoft, Kraft, H&M, Old Navy, Qualcomm, HTC, Tabasco and Nesquik.
