Peeing in public is only cool when you’re too drunk to remember it or you’re less than a decade old, or in a natural body of water. And though we get MTV’s joke, (maybe it is a good way to save water) we really hope this is meant as a last resort it’s illegal and pretty gross. We have seen this behavior a lot here in New York, and though we’re all for saving the climate, we’re not all about dudes whipping it out as we walk down the street. For reals.
Yeah, we get the joke. Here’s a way to save water: turn off the shower while you lather up; likewise for the sink during hand sanitation and teeth brushing rituals. When you do the dishes, employ the same tactic. Let’s start there, and if there isn’t a marked change, then we’ll talk about peeing outside.
