By Bob Marshall

This is the true story of four strangers who will live rent-free in a Williamsburg for one year, competing for a coveted full-time position at MRM Worldwide. See what happens with portfolio graduates stop being nice, and start getting critical.

For the third consecutive year, MRM is staging a year-long competition for eager jobseekers who get to live in the trendiest neighborhood of New York without paying a dime. For 12 months, the foursome will work on MRM Worldwide brands like General Mills, Chase and Nikon. MRM ECD Doug Speidel is happy with the talent pool the agency is able to choose from, adding, “The past two seasons of ‘The Apartment’ have shown us and our clients that the talent and capabilities of this set of individuals can deliver some really innovative and progressive work and I look forward to what we will see from this group.” Follow the current cast’s quite minimal blog here and catch up on the past two seasons with videos here and here. A note to the competitors: While this sort of environment can simulate the competitive and cutthroat environment of the ad industry, the free rent is pretty unrealistic. Enjoy it while you have it.
