MRM to Add 100 in Detroit, Michael Jacobs Shifts Post

Finally some good news for Detroit. Sources familiar with the MRM and General Motors digital production deal tell us that the agency has officially begun the hiring process of 100 staffers in the Motor City to strictly handle the GM biz. As a result, MRM New York ECD Michael Jacobs is changing posts and will serve as ECD specifically for the automaker’s account.

While tipsters were telling us that Jacobs was asked to leave his post, the agency says this is not quite the case and that Jacobs will still be based out of NY but will be shuttling back and forth between the Big Apple and Detroit as part of his new role.
