Mr. Youth Brings in More Creatives

By Kiran Aditham

Just weeks after appointing Euro RSCG alum David Weinstock as its ECD, New York-based social media agency Mr. Youth has added two more staffers to its creative department with the hiring of ACD/art director Ben Waldman and ACD/copywriter Josh Young.

Waldman, who looks a bit like American Pie‘s Jason Biggs, arrives from BBDO New York, where he was a creative supervisor/AD and worked on accounts including Gillette, Milky Way and New Balance. Now at Mr. Youth, the newly appointed ACD will be involved with Nike, P&G and Microsoft as well as new business opportunities. Young, meanwhile, was group creative director at NY boutique Agent16, the shop behind one of our, um, favorite campaigns from 2009.  In his new ACD/CW role, Young will contribute to Bing, HP and Dasani along with new biz opps as well.

Besides the usual “I’m excited to work with…” statements regarding their new employer, Waldman adds, “I like being surrounded by such good-looking people.”
