Mr. Youth Breaks Record for Largest Dodgeball Game With Samsung Mobile Event

Last night in Murray Hill some 700 dodgeballers showed up at a giant gym in hopes of breaking a Guinness World record for the biggest game ever. They did it, but behind it all was social mahttp://www.mediabistro.com/editor/mt.cgi?__mode=list_entries&blog_id=17rketing agency Mr. Youth, which was on assignment for Samsung Mobile.

New York TimesCityRoom reports that among the players were a shirtless teacher and a man who attempted to draw sympathy from opponents by wearing lens-less glasses. It didn’t work &#151 he got pwned in the face.

The 700+ players donned either blue or yellow jerseys and hurled non-traditional dodgeballs made of a soft foam. Purists weren’t too happy with the fake balls, reports CityRoom, but the game broke the world record nonetheless.
